Axel Catalán

Axel Catalán is a songwriter from Michoacán, Mexico. His music is primarily influenced by rock music and Latin America’s folklore. He has released 2 EPs, 2 singles and an LP called ‘Los Zopilotes’ – his first professional production recorded by Ulises Hadjis (Latin Grammy nominee in 2012) and David Aguilar (fellow Mexican singer-songwriter). Axel has performed at Plaza Condesa as Jake Bugg’s support and at renowned Mexican festivals such as Latido and Vive Latino.
