Marina Fages is a visual artist, composer, multi-instrumentalist and performer – part of Argentina’s new generation of female musicians. She has toured Europe, South America and Japan, showcasing songs that span from indie folk to intense rock, and painting murals in many different cities.
‘Vivo en Piyama’ is her newest material. It consists of twelve songs recorded in audio and video at her painting studio, where she has created new oil paintings during quarantine. The album includes greatest hits from her previous three albums and two covers, and evokes a soft singing style, almost like a lullaby attempting to calm or sleep a monster that wants to come out of lockdown.
