On January 21, 2022, the singer released “Unfuckable,” a mantra for the wounded and those determined to leave. She too, she presented the video clip of the song.
“Unfuckable” was recorded and mixed by Joel Jerome, as well as mastered by Manny Nieto. Likewise, the production was in charge of AJ Davila, Marion’s main collaborator.
After a time of pandemic that allowed her to create new music for upcoming releases, singer Marion Raw has shared her first single of the year titled Unfuckable, which she describes as a mantra for the wounded, “it’s chaotic and unheroic, you haven’t arrived yet but it’s a step in the right direction”; all presented under the Devil in the Woods label.
This new single from Raw is a song for all those who are determined to leave. Unfuckable, contrary to what one might assume as self-loathing (someone unwanted), in the song is a measure of self-protection, saying “you can’t fuck with me, it’s not an option anymore”. It is a song for the obsessive, the addicted, the recovered and the resilient.
Although the pandemic has caused us too many problems, it has also been a period of analysis where we have been able to look back on social and personal circles to give us the opportunity to rediscover ourselves.
